Oruç Yurdaer personally spent several months in Pakistan, visiting Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Murree, Gujranwala, and Sialkot. He prepared and negotiated numerous housing schemes and designs for NAPHDA, Defence Housing Authority, Lahore Development Authority, and Naya Pakistan.
